New Orleans’ Recovery School District and Denver received the top ranking in the new Education Choice and Competition Index (ECCI), an annual guide to the conditions of K-12 school choice in the nation’s 100+ largest school districts, released yesterday by the Center on Children and Families at the Brookings Institution. http://brook.gs/1S103bO

While our focus this weekend in Louisiana is on Mardi Gras, the rest of the nation is getting ready the Super Bowl.
