Governor Edwards delivered the opening address of Louisiana’s legislative session, proposing new limits on the Louisiana Scholarship Program. NOLA.com’s Julia O’Donoghue tracked the applause Edwards received for different sections of the speech. LFC, Louisiana BAEO, Louisiana Association for Public Charter Schools and Democrats for Education Reform Louisiana will host a “Mini Policy Summit on School Choice in Louisiana” today. The event will take place at the Capitol Welcome Center, 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.
