Legislation to return governance of more than 50 New Orleans public schools currently under state control to the Orleans Parish School Board received final approval and is headed to the desk of Gov. Today’s American Enterprise Institute’s discussion on “Education savings accounts: The new frontier in school choice,” will feature Kevin P. Chavous, AFC board member, on a 9:45 a.m. (CT) panel and Betsy DeVos, chairman of AFC, will be featured on a panel at 11:05 a.m. The entire day will be streamed live here.

Speaker John Boehner will serve as a keynote at the 2016 AFC National Policy Summit. Online registration is closed but onsite registration is available beginning at 3:00 p.m. ET on Monday, May 16.
