The American Federation for Children, the nation’s voice for educational choice, celebrates the life and legacy of the former Governor George Voinovich, who passed away early Sunday morning. Voinovich, former Cleveland mayor, Governor of Ohio and U.S. Senator, was a longtime champion of private school choice and worked tirelessly throughout his career to ensure the most disadvantaged students had access to a quality education through private school choice.
