Good Morning

On the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report’s 35th anniversary, publisher Rolfe McCollister reflects on the successful journey of former Children’s Charter School student David Thomas. Thomas is now at Morgan State University in the Ph.D. program working on his doctorate in public health.

“David said in 2012, ‘Children’s Charter School was where I got my real focus on education as the basis for my future. There was not time for distractions. We were there to learn. They told me they saw potential.’ David is fulfilling that potential.”
