Good Morning
Divergent views on how schools are graded following last week’s release of Louisiana school performance scores:
- Lake Charles American Press: “The Louisiana Department of Education released school and system performance scores this week and Southwest Louisiana has much to boast about.”
- Houma Courier: “Half of the school systems throughout our great state have “A” or “B” grades from the Department of Education. But how can that be? Louisiana is at or near the bottom in just about any statistical measure of educational achievement.”
Have a great day.
