On Tuesday, LFC co-hosted with our partners Louisiana BAEO, Louisiana Association for Public Charter Schools and Democrats for Education Reform Louisiana the Louisiana School Choice Mini Summit. Legislators in attendance received an overview of the 10-year history of education reform in Louisiana, present day results, successes and challenges.
Good Morning Governor Edwards delivered the opening address of Louisiana’s legislative session, proposing new limits on the Louisiana Scholarship Program. NOLA.com’s Julia O’Donoghue tracked the applause Edwards received for different sections of the speech.
