It’s important for our kids to get a good Christian education. When I was younger, my daughter went to Westminster Christian Academy, and I felt that school was so much better than the public schools because she got a better education.
I have two great nieces that I adopted as youngsters that attend Family Worship Christian Academy. They have gone through so much and I just wanted them to be in a safe school.

School choice means everything to me and my family. It means that we actually get a choice at getting the school that I want my children to go to and know that there going to succeed.
School choice has been a game-changer for us. Oh my gosh. My grandparents didn’t get to go to school. They were still on a plantation with my dad. He only received part of a high school education. My mom and I graduated from high school the same year.
I intend for my kids to grow up in this school through second grade. We wouldn’t be able to do that wiould the Lousiana Scholarship Programs. I am thankful that those programs exist to make Weatherford a reality for me and my family.
The truth remains that most low-income families cannot afford to send their kids to pre-school, but scholarships provide them with that opportunity.
