Superintendent John White’s effort to cut the Louisiana Scholarship Program wait list is yielding positive results, especially in New Orleans – an area not impacted by the flood. The Advocate reports the wait list has been trimmed in half to 187 students.

Times-Picayune/NOLA.com reports Superintendent White’s announcement that Louisiana Scholarship Program students displaced by flooding can transfer their scholarship awards to any participating school that has capacity and is willing to accept new students. http://bit.ly/2bCC6IP
