Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb to speak at AFC’s National Policy Summit

The American Federation for Children, the nation’s voice for educational choice, is pleased to announce Governor Eric Holcomb will address AFC’s National Policy Summit, Monday, May 22 and Tuesday, May 23 in Indianapolis.

“Indiana, under Gov. Holcomb’s leadership, is one of the leading school choice states in the country,” said Bill Oberndorf, chairman of the American Federation for Children. “We look forward to having the Governor at the Summit and celebrating the success of school choice in Indiana.”

“I am excited to welcome AFC and all of the Summit attendees to Indiana,” said Gov. Holcomb. “It is a great opportunity to share our state’s ongoing work to give all students a quality education that prepares them for success after graduation.”

Gov. Holcomb was sworn in as the Governor of Indiana on January 9, 2017. Prior to his election, Gov. Holcomb served as Lieutenant Governor. Throughout his career in public service, Eric has earned a reputation of being a consensus builder. He’s worked with Hoosiers from all walks of life to build support for a number of initiatives and is the author of the book, “Leading the Revolution,” which outlined the successes of the Mitch Daniels approach to campaigning and governing. Gov. Holcomb is a veteran of the United States Navy and was a trusted advisor to both Governor Mitch Daniels and Senator Dan Coats.
