Good Morning

The Nevada Legislature passed a $20 million one-time increase in funding for the state’s Opportunity Tax Credit Scholarship Program, which allows students from low-to-moderate income families attend the school of their choice.

“While we are extremely disappointed that there was no resolution on a new funding mechanism for the state’s education savings account (ESA) program, we are pleased the Nevada Legislature in a bipartisan vote remains supportive of school choice and parental empowerment.” – Tommy Schultz, National Communications Director for the American Federation for Children
