Good Morning
A new LSU Public Policy Research Lab survey finds more Louisiana residents believe the state is heading in the right direction – 46 percent versus 40 percent who say the state is heading in the wrong direction. When grading public schools, 39 percent assigned a letter grade of D or F, ahead of only roads, bridges and highways with 63 percent D or F grades.
In Louisiana’s District 8 House race, Congressman Mike Johnson endorses Raymond Crews to fill the seat he vacated to run for Congress.
Yesterday, the Texas Senate passed Senate Bill 3, a school choice bill that would create tax-credit scholarship and education savings account programs for the Lonestar State. It now heads over to the House. See the AFC release here: http://www.federationforchildren.org/texas-senate-passes-major-school-choice-bill/
