Good Morning
- Several op-eds over the weekend (links below under Louisiana) on the pending legal battle between Gov. John Bel Edwards and Louisiana Education Superintendent John White, with opinions ranging from they should “make peace” to White is the “best man for the job.”
- More reaction to AFT President Randi Weingarten’s attacks against those who seek educational freedom for their children, labeling them the “polite cousins of segregation.” The National Review said there is no depth to which the union won’t sink in defense of the public-school monopoly. Also, read AFC’s rebuttal and the statement from Ohio parent Traci Woodard who said, “How dare Randi Weingarten accuse someone like me of being aligned with segregationists, when all I’ve wanted to do was give my son the chance to have an opportunity with his education.”
Have great week. – Paul
