Good Morning

Hope you enjoyed your holiday weekend. The Daily Advertiser’s editorial board is encouraged by results from the recent study by the School Choice Demonstration Project at the University of Arkansas and the Education Research Alliance for New Orleans at Tulane University:

“That’s why the Louisiana Scholarship Program bears additional support and study. Rather than forcing poor families to remain linked to bad schools, it has allowed disadvantaged families to choose better education options — options they would not have had otherwise. It is also forcing low-performing public schools to compete to keep their enrollments up. Competition oftentimes drives improvement.”

Have a great day. – Paul
