The teachers at Good Shepherd did not allow Donny to fall in the cracks. They stayed on him, each teacher. It was a communication between parent and teacher the whole time, even with the administration. And that’s one thing that I admire the most.
School choice is powerful. Being able to choose the school that works best for you and allows you to thrive is one of the best decisions anyone can make for their child.
Some families don’t get the chance due to monetary situations. In that sense, it isn’t fair, but it is also how life is. It is also why I’m so grateful for the Louisiana Scholarship Program, which graciously gives people like me a fighting chance.
It was a great night for school choice! With big wins in some key gubernatorial races and plenty of wins racked up in state legislative races – by our tireless political teams in the states – we’re very happy with the results.
